Its story is based on a movie that was released by Pixar Animation Studios called The Toy Story 3. This time they introduced certain new characters that include new friends and hostiles.

The main characters of this game are Sheriff Woddy, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. These characters can perform different tasks through their special moves. Woddy is able to jump across different items through his string. Buzz Lightyear is able to use his laser beam.
They were friend in the beginning but due to certain crises they turn apart from each other and indulged in different problems. They went in a place that is far away from their house.
This game is based on a storyline of a famous movie called Toy Story 3. It is comprised of two modes. First one is known as story mode. It is based on several dramatic levels. These levels are nine in number based on the plot of Toy story 3.In short, it is a sequel of Toy Story 2.
The other one is known as Toybox mode. In this mode player is able to design and customize rounds. Even players are able to create and assemble certain missions in it. If a player is succeeded in completing these missions then they are rewarded by different objects. These rewards were blocked in the beginning even a player can be able to extend their city.
